Hi guys,

It's been a fun season so far racing the trucks on the roadies, but I think it's time to pull the plug. I don't think our timeslot works very well for a lot of our drivers, and this results in low participation and unfortunately I don't have much other time throughout the week to move the series around. I think we can all agree that running the Silverado on the roadies is great fun, but with the imminent release of the V8 supercars, followed by the Mustang and Williams F1 car, I think folks will be drawn away from running a series like this. The future may hold a fun big event or two with sponsors and telecasts, but sustaining a series is very difficult. I really appreciate the drivers who came out and made this work for as long as it did. Congrats to George Fullerton for dominating the points standings from the start of the season!

Before we officially close the doors, I would like to offer the series up to someone else. I don't think it's fair to you guys who actually dedicated time into this season for me just to back down and close the series. If you would like to take command, please send me an email and I can offer you the details.
